NOVEMBER 5th

The Concert

We are excited to welcome emma's revolution http://emmasrevolution.com/ .  Pat Humphries and Sandy O are internationally known activist musicians in the tradition of Pete Seeger and Holly Near.  This talented duo has performed on "Democracy Now" and "All Things Considered." They write and sing songs about peace and justice, protecting the environment, workers rights, immigration and GLBT issues.  Their music can move the listener not only to tears, but to action.  These two talented women will rock the room and send the audience out into the world ready to make a difference.  It is their first visit to Utah, and as you know, our state can really use more energized activists.  We have room for 300.

Activist Fair

Emma Goldman said, "If I can't dance I don't want to be in your revolution." Our world needs people like Emma.  We need more people like Martin Luther King, Cesar Chavez, Susan B Anthony, Harvey Milk, Nelson Mandela, Gandhi, Rosa Parks, and Tim DeChristopher.  Is there someone in Ogden, Utah who could be on that list someday?   Who knows the answer to that question?  What is a fact, however, is that there are many people in our town who care deeply about our planet and about peace and justice.  The Activist Fair will be an opportunity to network and recruit volunteers and supporters for the causes we all care about.  The Fair will be open for an hour before the concert, during the intermission, and for as long afterwards as people want to stay.   The energy level should be simply amazing.
