cUUriosity is a series of short informative gatherings open to all–newcomers, friends and long-standing members.  These drop-in classes, led by congregational leaders, cover various topics about which you may be curious.  These sessions have been put on hold.  Please email the church administrator at if you’d like to know when these classes will be starting up again.  Below are the topics covered in these sessions:

UU History – an overview of Unitarian, Universalist and Unitarian Universalist history, including the history of this congregation.
Ask the Minister!  Q&A with the Minister with Reverend Shelley Page.
Worship – Worship on Sunday mornings is central to our UUCO experience. What is unique about our services? What are standard practices in Unitarian Universalism? What do the rituals we perform every Sunday mean?  Led by members of the UUCO Worship Committee.
A look at the 7 Principles and 6 Sources – Unitarian Universalist congregations affirm and promote Seven Principles, which we hold as strong values and moral guides. We live out these Principles within a “living tradition” of wisdom and spirituality, drawn from sources as diverse as science, poetry, scripture, and personal experience. Come with questions!
How Things Work Around Here –  We are a self-governing spiritual community.  Learn how things happen and where to go if you have a great idea.
Religious Exploration – explore Unitarian Universalist religious education philosophy and how we  practice it here at UUCO.
Building Tour – a special “behind the scenes” tour of our beautiful building with Karline Valentine, our Interim Church Administrator.
UU Social Justice – a presentation on UU Social Justice.  Let’s explore what UUs do on a national, international and local level and how we stand on the side of love together!
Membership 101 – Bring all your questions about anything to do with becoming or being a member!
