Family Promise Host Week is Coming!

Family Promise is an exciting, meaningful venture for us. With each host week, we are learning more and more about what it means to show up as good and faithful stewards for our community. We are bearing witness to powerful times in people’s lives. Among the realities of homeless is deep vulnerability: a vastly personal experience that leaves one exposed (physically and emotionally), exhausted, and overwhelmed. We have also seen deep connection: families working together to create a home in the church for a single week, tending one another’s children, sharing words of hope and pride.

True Beloved Community is being built through the Family Promise program. It is, without a doubt, a privilege to get to know these families and share in their journey.

Our next host week is December 10th-17th

There are a variety of ways to be involved in supporting Family Promise, all of which are outlined on the website here. You can sign up for your volunteer slot at the same link.

If you are unable to volunteer in the roles listed, please know there are other ways you can be involved. Let us know you need an alternative simply by responding to this email.

Thank you again for your love and support in our Beloved Community.

Blessings Together,
